VK 45.02: turret camo.

Dopo la completa essiccazione ho steso uno strato di vernice Tamiya per uniformare le tonalità della modulazione.
After completely dry I spread a layer of Tamiya paint to even out the tones of the modulation.

Essendo un modello di fantasia ho concepito così, la camo per la torretta.

As a model of imagination I conceived it, the camo for the turret.

VK 45.02: rust.

La mia intenzione è quella di creare una ruggine superficiale dovuta alla pioggia e allo stivaggio delle piastre nei magazzini. Questo crea delle strisce di ruggine orizzontali e verticali molto chiare e sulle piastre orizzontali ho creato qualche intaccatura della ruggine sulle piastre con un rosso più scuro.
Ho usato il Rust Streaks schiarito con il giallo Humbrol per le striature chiare, Il Rust Streaks puro per la ruggine scura e il pigmento ruggine chiara per omogeneizzare il tutto.
Per le macchie e colature di olio e grasso ho usato il prodotto Mig Oil and Grease.
Ho impolverato le zone basse dello scafo con il pigmento Terra Europea.

My intention is to create a surface rust due to rain and the stowage of the plates in the stores. This creates horizontal and vertical stripes of rust on the horizontal plates are very clear and I have created some indentation of the rust on the plates with a darker red.
I used the Rust Streaks brightened with yellow streaks on the Humbrol clear, The Rust Streaks pure rust the dark pigment and rust clear to homogenize everything.
For stains and drips of oil and grease I used the product Mig Oil and Grease.
I dusted the lower areas of the hull with the pigment European Earth.

VK 45.02: mud.

Ho infangato la parte bassa dello scafo e il treno di rotolamento con i pigmenti Terra Europea e Terra Scura. Dopo l'asciugatura ho simulato il grasso con il prodotto Mig "Oil and Grease satin misture". 
I muddied the bottom of the hull and the train rolling with earth pigments European and Dark Earth. After drying, I simulated the fat with the product Mig "Oil and Grease satin misture". 

VK 45.02: steel.

Ho steso il pigmento sulle piastre superiori fissato con il Fixer.
I have spread the pigment on the upper plates secured with the Fixer.

Gli sportelli e le griglie, essendo pezzi a parte, li ho colorati in giallo scuro e rosso antiruggine, per creare un po di variazioni di tonalità nello scafo.

The doors and grilles, as pieces aside, I've colored in dark yellow and red rust, to create a bit of shade variations in the hull.

Dopo aver verniciato il tutto ho steso uno strato di vernice trasparente opaca per la successiva stesura dei pigmenti ruggine.

After I painted the whole spread a layer of matte varnish for the subsequent drafting of rust pigments.

VK 45.02: start.

In attesa che arrivi lo Stug III G ho iniziato questo prototipo che mi piace molto. Il Ferdinand e  l'Elephant, esteticamente non mi sono mai piaciuti però questo modello mi ha colpito molto per la sua forma rastremata nella parte posteriore e simile al King Tiger nella parte frontale. Lo scafo lo farò di fabbrica prima della mano di antiruggine lasciando in evidenza le saldature lucenti e la ruggine nel centro delle piastre. Il carro sarà vissuto (infangato) nel treno di rotolamento e nella parte inferiore dello scafo compresi i cingoli.
Il Kit è il Dragon 6657 a cui ho affiancato i cingoli Friulmodel ATL 23.

Pending the arrival Stug III G I started that I really like this prototype. Ferdinand and The Elephant, aesthetically, I never liked this model, however, I was very impressed by its shape and tapered in the back like the King Tiger in the front. The hull will do the factory before the coat of rust inhibitor, leaving out the shiny welds and rust in the center of the plates. The wagon will be experienced (muddy) in the train rolling and at the bottom of the hull including the tracks.
The kit is the Dragon in 6657 when I joined the tracks Friulmodel ATL 23.

Lo scafo lo lasciato senza nessun gancio per attrezzi o cavi d'acciaio, nudo come se fosse stato finito in fretta e reso operativo senza preoccuparsi del fattore estetico.

The boat left him with no hook for tools or steel wire, bare as if it were done quickly and running without worrying about the aesthetics.
